About Us

A place where children grow beyond labels

Beyond Limits Therapy is a pediatric development center providing occupational therapy, speech therapy, and academic tutoring for children and teens.

We support children with a wide range of developmental and learning needs — not limited to any single diagnosis — focusing on each child’s individual strengths, challenges, and goals rather than labels.

Our team is committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and develop the skills they need to succeed in daily life, school, and beyond. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we work closely with families to provide personalized, goal-driven support every step of the way.

Rooted in love, growing beyond limits

Vickie Goetz

Founder · Beyond Limits Family & the Love Beyond Limits Nonprofit

Several years ago, Vickie Goetz was introduced to the special-needs community — and it forever changed her life. She quickly learned that every child and adult is beautifully different, each with their own strengths, personality, and abilities, and she fell in love with the families, the children, and the incredible sense of community.

What began unexpectedly soon became a purpose. She founded Love Beyond Limits, a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunity, inclusion, and a stronger community for individuals with special needs. Along the way she met mothers and families who shared the same dream: a safe place where children could be understood, supported, loved, and given every opportunity to thrive. That shared vision grew into Beyond Limits Family — built not by one person, but by families coming together with the same heart and purpose.

“We are one big family. Together, we are creating a safe place where every child belongs, every family feels supported, and together we can make a difference.”

She credits the mothers who believed in this dream and pushed it forward alongside her. For her, Beyond Limits is more than a program — it is a family, a community, and a promise to always believe in what is possible beyond limits.

The hearts behind the growth

Ashley Krantz

Co-Founder · Special-Needs Mom

AdvocateMatthew’s Mom

Ashley Krantz has been passionate about the special-needs community from a young age — and becoming a mother to her son, Matthew, made that connection personal. Raising a smart, funny, nonverbal child opened her eyes to the beauty of this community, and to the need for more places where children are truly seen for who they are and what they are capable of.

When public school could not offer Matthew the environment he needed, Ashley began a journey of learning, advocating, and searching for a place that would recognize his abilities while supporting his individual needs. Along the way she met Vickie Goetz, and the two quickly discovered they shared one vision: children come first, surrounded by people who love what they do and believe in every child’s potential. Together with a village of mothers, families, educators, and therapists, Beyond Limits Family was born.

For Ashley, the goal reaches beyond the classroom: helping every child grow mentally, physically, and emotionally while building the confidence, friendships, life skills, and independence to grow into amazing adults living their fullest lives.

“Beyond Limits is more than a school — it is a family. We want every child who walks through our doors to feel loved, understood, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.”

Educator · Master’s in Childhood Education

EnglishEspañol

I’ve spent over 20 years working in education and have a Master’s in Childhood Education. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and over the past few years I’ve found a passion for working with neurodivergent students and creating learning environments that are flexible, engaging, and responsive to each student’s individual needs.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to know each student as a person. I’m naturally curious, so I love learning about their interests, strengths, and what makes them unique. I’ve found that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to learning, and I enjoy adapting my teaching to meet students where they are.

I also value strong partnerships with families. You know your child better than anyone, and I believe open communication and collaboration help us support students in the best way we can.

I’ve spent many years working with children and love creating learning experiences that are engaging, creative, and meaningful. I’m bilingual in English and Portuguese, and I enjoy using hands-on activities, art, and creative projects to help students explore new skills and express themselves.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is finding creative ways to connect with each student. I enjoy discovering their unique interests and designing activities that encourage participation, confidence, and independence. I believe learning should be interactive, engaging, and adapted to each student’s unique strengths.

I also value strong partnerships with families. I believe open communication and teamwork between home and school help create the best possible learning experience for every student.
